Having been involved in many information literacy projects, I am excited to see news of students' actual habits. We frequently assess students' information literacy, but we have not been surveying students' general research strategies. Hmmm.

Nice Flash-based clocks with selectable time periods and absolute and relative dynamics of death causes. There are also clocks for other interesting subjects. One could imagine using this to initially rank death factors and subjects by frequency to imply importance and then come back and rip apart that model using the conclusions that a class might initially draw with that simplistic analysis.
